About the Author

Charity (Cari) grew up in a small town where the only telephone they had was in the grocery store. The owner, Hermey, would take the messages. As children, they would play games like kick the can, marbles, hide-and-seek, and pretend they were cowboys and Indians. Cari’s favorite part was playing an Indian princess, so when she had children, she would make up stories, and her favorite were the PowPow ones.
