About the Author

Jim Patrick, Ph. D. Former Marine Captain who commanded a tank platoon in Da Nang, Vietnam, 1965-66, where he earned a bronze star and purple heart. Dr. Patrick founded Agape Counseling, a private practice of psychology, in Tallmage, Ohio, from 1980-1995 where veterans and their families were welcomed and treated with dignity and respect. Dr. Patrick is a retired ESE family counselor for Broward Schools.
