About the Author

Anna and Lene Schepper are the mother/daughter duo behind PaperMatrix (http://papermatrix.wordpress.com/), a blog dedicated to exploring and expanding the traditional art of paper weaving and braiding. Their work has been featured on DesignSponge, HowAboutOrange, AllThingsPaper, and other popular crafting and home decorating websites. Anna and Lene are also the authors of paper weaving books published in Danish and German, and some of their stunning sphere designs have been licensed by a Japanese paper company. Lene, a chemical engineer with a Ph.D. in crystallography, has been experimenting with paper weaving since childhood, eventually sharing her love of the craft with her daughter Anna, an architect with a degree from the Architectural Association in London, one of the most prominent architecture schools in the world.
