About the Author

A pharmacist licensed in three states, HARVEY MENDEZ lives in Southern California with his wife, Ann. He has co-authored a screenplay, has six short stories, two essays, one poem, and eight novels published.

His novel, AMELIA, placed fourth in a national contest and THE BEAR AND THE BULL won first place in a national contest as a short story in 1986. He belongs to the Lagunita Writers Group in Laguna Beach, California, and the Cherokee Village Writers Guild in Arkansas.

JOHN EDWARD YOUNG was born in NYC, New York, and had an interest in art, music and literature at an early age. He now lives with his wife and pets in Los Angeles, California.
