This is our attempt to create a more contemporary and easy-to-read English version of the story with new illustrations and words. The goal of this title is to teach children the lessons of patience and exploring available resources.

About the Author

Kruti Lehenbauer has a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallas, U.S.A. She is currently employed at a Texas University and teaches classes in economics and statistics. She has been working on creating a series of books for her 2-year old son to keep him informed about the Indian culture. With the vision of PAR Insights, this is one of the first books in what she hopes will be a series of books that can help toddlers all around the world to learn the lessons of life in an easy, colorful, and friendly manner.
