About the Author

Lead author Del Franz is an experienced social studies educator and publishing executive with 12 years of successful leadership in test-prep publishing with Peterson's/Nelnet and Kaplan. Phyllis Dutwin is the author of several language arts and test-prep books, including TABE Test of Adult Basic Education from McGraw-Hill and Writing the Easy Way. Richard Ku has been teaching mathematics at the secondary level for more than 25 years and has authored several test-preparation books, including Barron's SAT Subject Test Math Level 2. Kathleen Peno is an associate professor in the School of Education at the University of Rhode Island and has been a GED instructor.
