Elaine Fantle Shimberg is the award-winning author of more than 20 books. She has written numerous articles on family issues for Reader's Digest, Woman's Day, Men's Health, Consumer Digest, Essence, and Glamour and has appeared on Today and other national TV and radio programs. She is also on the advisory board for the website KidsGrowth.com. Her son and coauthor, Michael Shimberg, himself a divorced father of two, is a certified financial planner for a leading financial services firm. He has mastered juggling carpools and cooking, as well as the technique of tying bows on his daughter's dresses. Both authors live in Tampa, Florida.
