About the Author

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Peter has studied and perfected various forms of martial arts over the past twenty-five years.

His love of the arts often brought interesting, unexpected twists to a career that included stints as a stuntman and a fight choreographer, and when he was asked to be the weapons master to Paramount Pictures how could he say no? His work can be seen on such projects such as The Untouchables, The Best of the Best III, and Richie Rich.

As a thrill seeker, he has raced open-wheel cars, enjoys loading up his “little puddle jumper” Cessna to go hunting or fishing, and in his most recent adventure as an avid scuba diver he hand fed white tip sharks 120 feet below the surface of the water on the reef ledge off the Tahitian Islands in the South Pacific.

When asked what his greatest achievement has been, his face beams as he says that the best adventure yet has been raising his three children. His oldest son, an excellent trap shooter, is currently in college; his middle son recently took second place in the Midwest championships for Judo; and his daughter is yet to discover her passion, but currently plays power forward on her school's basketball team.

He has no intention of slowing down—he just won't be seen jumping off any burning buildings or blowing things up any more now that he’s a family man.
