About the Author

Roger Hukle is the founder of the New Colonies group of companies (New American Colonies, New Colonies Trading & Commerce, and New Colonies Media.) Using their trademarked theme of "Rediscover America" as a platform, Roger and his group focus on and promote American history, education, industry, travel, culture, food, art, and music. Roger's education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Iowa State University and a Master of Personnel Administration from Central Michigan University. He has served as Executive Officer of the Deputy Commandant at the U.S. Air Force Academy, taught English and Russian as extension courses for Alaska Methodist University, and enjoyed a career in real estate development and marketing for the past 35 years. Credits include the Colorado Outstanding individual Award by the Colorado State Teachers Associationm Telly Award as Executive Producer for the "docutainment" film "The Hughes Brothers-On Our Own, Together," and Person of the Year Award from the Colorado Springs Home Builders Association. Roger currently lives in Colorado Springs and serves as the Colorado Co-Chair for the National Coalition for a Prosperous America.
