Overview

Claude’s father vanishes after inventing a time machine, and Claude and his best friend Carolien plunge into the past to find him. But their journey presents them with a set of frightening challenges when they arrive on the southern plantation where Carolien’s ancestors are slaves. There, they confront one of the most horrific chapters in history as they try to help her great great great great grandmother escape. But messing with the past is a dangerous thing, and they quickly realize one wrong move may hurt countless people and fracture the very fabric of the universe.

About the Author

Rob Wolf loves to read all kinds of books but he likes to write science fiction. A single "what if?" can inspire his imagination: "What if cats started talking?" "What if a second sun appeared in the sky?" "What if a woman started hearing voices and thought she was losing it but was really communicating with beings from another dimension?" He's keen on creating the kinds of characters he wished he'd encountered in books when he was a kid--particularly gay characters.
