About the Author

John learned that we have the ability to generate healing within ourselves. Health traumas pushed him to research and study holistic modalities which improve his health and life. Acute chronic pain from combat wounds began John's quest for health. Additionally, he was savaged by the gradual growth of cancer up to stage 4 bladder cancer due to exposure of Agent Orange while serving in Vietnam. John received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star with Oak leaf cluster along with other awards. His quest for improved health and recovery taught him a truth of life: medical services may assist, but health is ultimately a personal issue. How we are with ourselves is important. The fuller our relationship with ourself, the greater our potential for recovery, health, and a satisfying life. Breath, especially directed breath, and awareness open natural potentials within us. Sharing these discoveries with family, friends, and community increases health and joy.
