Scott Heim is a writer, originally from Kansas, now living in Boston. He has published three novels: We Disappear (2008); In Awe (1997); and his first, Mysterious Skin (1995), which was later made into a film directed by Gregg Araki and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Brady Corbet, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Elisabeth Shue.
