CHAPTER 1
I absolutely hate how people say that I ate the gingerbread man and saved nothing for them, and I am getting hated on.
I was minding my own business, going to work for a lady to make a gingerbread, because she had a too curious kid. She was afraid he would open the door to the oven.
When I got there though, she was being so bossy saying. "You can't eat the rice, only the omulets for dinner." I asked why and she said, "Because I am awesome like that."
Whatever that means. I could not take it anymore, so I left. Yes-siree, nobody acts like that to me and gets away with it. If you thought they could then you have definitely never met me, the fox.
5 minutes before I got to my house, I spotted a gingerbread man. I said "Say run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me im the gingerbread man."
He assumed he made his catch phrase up. It made me mad then I saw more people chasing him. I grabbed him up and took him to my house.
The next day, I had to go work for that lady again, so I left. When I came back though, the gingerbread man was gone and the house was a mess.
I thought we had been robbed. So I ran outside with cat food because I did not know what gingerbread men ate.
I saw him five hours later on the sidewalk with his leg broken off and crunched. At first, I stood there in disbelief because I had never in my life seen someone do something so cruel. Who would do such a thing? I took him back to the house when he told me it was the baker's son. I swore revenge on their family, but the next day, I still had to go work for her. She wouldn't let me rest the whole day. It was horrible, my back was sore, because of how long I had to bend down till the gingerbread men were finished.
