Overview

The aristocratic, Reginald and Hannah Wellington of Great Neck, New York, host a gala party for their daughter Margo’s engagement to Stephan Randall. The Long Island celebration takes a twist when Cousin Walter brings his Cousin Chloe and Stephan becomes riveted to the beautiful singer. Jealousy leads to tragedy following Stephan and Margo’s argument over it. Stephan storms out of the party in a drunken rage and has a fatal car crash. After his demise, Margo's privileged life drastically changes only to discover she is pregnant with Stephan's child. She becomes crazed and chops off her long beautiful hair in frenzy. Former fashion designer of couture evening wear and accessories, Jody R. LaGreca is now an award-winning poet and the author of eight novels. Her books "Afternoon Tea" and "The Gloaming" received five star reviews from Midwest Book Review. Her first book "Afternoon Tea" is a classic piece which has been compared to "Wuthering Heights."
