The doctor has no experience of raising a child and just hoped that Charlie would follow in the family tradition and become a “Good Inventor.” The Doctor must impress the Inspectors from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs that he is a suitable guardian for Charlie; however he is hiding something he has a secret creation!.
