About the Author

Rosemary Gemmell lives in the beautiful west coast of Scotland where she writes novels, short stories, articles, tween fiction and poetry. The Highland Lass is her first full length novel under this name and is contemporary Scottish fiction, with short chapters from 1785 in the voice of Highland Mary and her relationship with Roberts Burns. Historical novels and contemporary novellas with romance and mythology are published as Romy Gemmell and two tween books as Ros. Rosemary is a member of the Romantic Novelist's Association, the Society of Authors and the Scottish Association of Writers. She has a degree in European literature and history and a post-graduate Masters in Humanities.
