About the Author

Since the age of four my dream and joy was to write. I also loved to read and hardly went anywhere without a book to enjoy. By the time I was eight, I had read at least four novels and had written my own fiction short stories about life under the sea (inspired by the Little Mermaid), talking objects and other things to do with magic. I knew then that fantasy (the genre) was my strong point and would grow stronger. By the age of ten I had begun drawing properly with focus. I mainly drew what I wanted my characters to look like, how I envisioned them. And so my drawing and writing became linked. At fifteen I started a project titled The Link, which I named so because I planned to write at least thirteen stories in this project, which were all linked to one another somehow. For example, third story may have absolutely nothing to do with the second or first, or the ninth would have nothing to do with the previous eight, but instead be linked to the twelfth story. Since 2005 I have been writing for this project, and am pleased to say I have now completed the entire series of The Link and have begun publishing them online. Aside from The Link series I have also written other stories which should eventually be published. Writers are born, not made. Makala. V. P. Thomas
