The Live Lean Health Plan: Simple Tips to Optimal Health
The Live Lean Health Plan is a guide to healing our body through simple foods but mainly to understanding that the simplest foods are the most powerful. One day I decided to conduct a small search on Amazon to see how many nutrition books have been published and were on sale. I was astonished by how many there were and a few I have personally purchased throughout the years. It was no less than a thousand. But, I also realized there and then, this is one topic that both fascinates and confuses everyone. We all need food and eat it; eating is necessary to live, we draw energy from it, and it is one of the most common ways we socialize with others. How to eat and what to eat is, however, one of the most controversial topics out there. Nutrition is a growing science and it is a unique science in that two opposing theories can be true. But regardless of the rivers of conflicting information, one thing I have found to be true is the fact that eating foods close to nature, unprocessed nor tampered with by humans, are the only ones which make sense and keep us healthy. Beyond this simple principle, each person must discover what works for him or her, individually. “You are what you eat” is a popular phrase, but somehow the connection between foods, whether edible or spiritual, and health is not always made. Because of the lack of connection, the result is often a body and mind in crisis. This is the reason why I am writing this book; to share what I have learned throughout the years and to help you to see that the physical is also spiritual and that you are in charge of your own nutritional continuum. You can be empowered and in control of your own destiny by simply learning a few tips about food, lifestyle, and listening to your body using an old tool: intuition.
