Ian Thompson is a cleaner/fixer, he knows where the bodies are, most of which he placed himself. Senator Thomas Bennett Griffin is a fresh face of politics, always trying to do the right thing. Having the conspiracy nuts at his doorstep, never helps the total picture of who he really is. Covering for his outspoken, retired Senator father always keeps him jumping.
Conoscalo Tuttio is a hired gun, a hitman, he has a job to do, actually several. He is also thinking about retirement and if he could ever be allowed to leave. Through his duties his mind set changes somewhere along the lines he finds his faith.
The godfather is not like those of old, this godfather does not appear on page three of the post or times, he could sit next to the Director of the FBI and it would not be known as to his identity.
