About the Author

Lavoria Guy was born in Plains, Georgia, where all the gentlemen call the women, who were born there, Georgia peaches, and where President Jimmy Carter was born and raised. Eventually, Lavoria moved to Florida and then to Newark, New Jersey, where she currently resides with her family. Her writing began from scribbling on little pieces of paper about all her thoughts of living in the northern United States. Lavoria’s writing had become intense and very serious at a young age. She remembers carrying around bags of paper with each and every thought she had written about a certain day or moment in her life. She wrote down her deepest feelings whether good or bad. As she grew into motherhood, having her own family to raise, she found another great passion taking care giving her love to others who needed her outside of her family. She decided to attended a nursing program in East Orange, NJ. Lavoria has served as a nursing care provider for over fifteen years and has enjoyed every moment. She has worked in various nursing homes, taking care of all ages and nationalities. Throughout her journey, she has found herself being a mentor to all and has lent a listening ear to those in her care. Besides being a motivational speaker, her hobbies include being a part-time chef and interior designer. Lavoria has written several novels in the genres of romance, action, mystery, spiritual, and children stories. Her greatest passion in this world, through God’s grace, is to write the most memorable, heart-stealing book that could ever be written, and she wants to be the one whom the Lord chose to write it.
