About the Author

Anthony Trollope (1815-1882) grew up in London. He inherited a writing ambition from his mother and was famously disciplined in developing his craft. While establishing a successful career at the post office, he got his first novel published in 1847. He eventually achieved fame and fortune with forty-seven novels.

Simon Vance is the winner of numerous Earphones Awards and the prestigious Audie® Award in 2006. Born in England, he worked for ten years as a radio news announcer for the BBC and as a narrator for the Royal National Institute for the Blind.
