This book is based on the TV show Peppa Pig, featuring the charming and unique piglet and her family. Peppa opens the book with her family tree, introducing us to Mummy and Daddy Pig, as well as her little brother George. Like most little kids (and pigs), Peppa's favorite thing to do is jump in muddy puddles. Everywhere Peppa goes, she begs Mummy and Daddy Pig to let her jump in muddy puddles—even at Granny and Grandpa's house! After George loses his beloved stuffed dinosaur out in the rain, Peppa is determined to get it back to him. Fortunately, this means she gets to jump in muddy puddles outside! The bright, playful images emulate the cartoon show, and there are fun pig noises for the little ones to make on each page. However, the plot of this story is somewhat dry and repetitive.
