Born in Castro Valley, CA, Deborah Rae Cota ventured into many arenas seeking a home, but pen and paper have always filled the void. Drawing from stories of her family and childhood, this former musician and retired photographer, spins a fantastical story set against the background of the San Francisco-Bay Area where she grew up.
