The history of music, culture and radio in the small island of Fiji by a well -known anthropologist and ethnomusicologist, starts from historical 'moments/ (1937, 1978, 2009) to dispute conventional theories of cultural change and demonstrate the ways that it is not 'music' that travels but the people who use and develop it through amazingly inspired initiatives.
