Sitting cross-legged on the conference table behind him Vlad grinned. This was going rather well. His favorite false face was handsome and black haired as well but his green eyes danced with eagerness. The Harrower's uniform he wore blended perfectly into the darkness of the room. But for the crimson and gold trim his head and arms would have appeared suspended in nothingness.

Six of his doppelgängers battled their way across the Lightningstrike. With a city this large six were hardly enough saturate the whole place. Even so, they had managed to really stir up the anthill. A screen in the lower right corner flashed reports of all the services that were interrupted. Which was all of them. The eight million wizards of the city of lightning it seemed were out hunting the Wraith. But Wraith would never come again. Not as he was before anyway.

When the right moment ticked he knew it was time to make his move. Vlad tapped his fingers on the table along in time to one of the song playing over the air. Setting up a playlist had been a good idea.

Caught up in what he was seeing it took Gaidan a minute to wonder what that tapping was. His eyes went wide when he turned to look.
