A group of writers who has decided to write stories together - just for the fun of it! I am happy to announce that authors proceeds have now gone to Sea Shepherd.fr every time Smashwords has made a payment! Thank you to those who have supported the group. In the the short story, The Trouble with Thorndyke,' each has written a chapter following the story's thread but has no idea where the next chapter will lead! The writer picking up the thread has gone where he will as long as the continuity of the story was respected. The authors of 'The Trouble with Thorndyke' are : Anna Scott Graham, Barnaby Wilde, Gary Weston, Jeffra Hays & Suzy Stewart Dubot. It was agreed amongst us that proceeds from 'The Trouble with Thorndyke' will go to the international ocean protection charity Sea Shepherd. The following collections are all written on a theme. 'Painted Door' was the first and as you can see, others have followed. Each author contributes when he has the time, so some of the collections have as many as twelve authors participating. All the Top Writers Block's proceeds will go to Sea Shepherd, so by buying you are helping to keep our oceans alive!
Cleve Sylcox (1958-...) was born in St. Charles, Missouri and still resides near his birth home by Elm St. He is married to an extraordinary woman and has two grown sons. His family is everything to him. At a young age writing helped him overcome the deep depression of losing his father. He tossed his feelings into work casting the cloak of despair behind him. He has never looked back. To say this is why he writes is true. To say it is why he loves to write is false. He loves to write as it gives him the arena to display emotion, display expression, of story telling, of creation, and the telling of life. His work is fictional with a cast of characters and places that come only from his deep imagination. If you enjoy his books please return often to find something new from the cellars of his mind.

He has two grown up children and currently lives happily in Devon.

I'm a photo nut as well as a poetry nut. I'm happiest when behind the lens or behind the pen!
I am a transplant to the Triangle area of North Carolina and I love it. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and living in Detroit, MI for over 16 years, I have been a big-city girl my entire life. Now, however, I live a quieter life at a slower pace and am thankful for every moment. In addition to my own work, you can find me collaborating with a talented group of indie authors known as Top Writers Block. Find us on Smashwords, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and so forth! I value the opinions of my readers. Please share them with me! You can contact me via my Facebook page. A few people have asked me how to pronounce my last name: it's "sid-lak".
