About the Author

Alvin Schwartz is known for a body of work of more than two dozen books of folklore for young readers that explores everything from wordplay and humor to tales and legends of all kinds. In addition to having illustratd Alvin Schwartz's There is a Carrot in My Ear and Other Noodle Tales, she is the artist for many popular books including Poem Stew, edited by William Cole, and Samson Svenson's Baby by Sheila Moore.

Ms. Weinhaus lives with her family in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
