'Thoughts Expressed' showcases the early works of English poet, Jack Hodges. After the death of his wife of nearly 50 years, Jack expressed his overwhelming sense of loss and yearning to be with her once again, into written word. Jack has gone on to write over 1,000 poems in his unique classical-romantic style.
This collection of 15 poems conveys the feelings of sadness of losing a loved one whilst praising the impact they have had on our lives.

About the Author

Jack Hodges was born in Donegal, Ireland, in 1926 but has spent much of his life living in the picturesque village of Breedon-on-the-Hill in the English Midlands. During that time, Jack has turned his hand to many things, from coal miner to painter. He became a widower after his wife of nearly 50 years, Betty, died in 1994. A great-grandfather, Jack has a large family that lives far and wide but will forever be close to his heart.

Adam Hodges, editor of 'Thoughts Expressed', shares the same love of the written word as his grandfather, Jack. Born in Leicester, England, in 1987, Adam studied Journalism at University of Sheffield before moving to USA. He worked for Barnes & Noble for three years seeing the transition from physical to digital book selling at store level. The salesman and writer lives outside Memphis, Tennessee, with his wife, daughter and two dogs.
