Traveling to Walt Disney World from New York Penn Station to Orlando via Amtrak part 2
In the first part, I talk about why I take the train. I also talk about the two Silver trains that travel along the East Coast stopping by Walt Disney World. I also talk about the accommodations onboard the train. And finally the cost of train travel.
In the second part, I continue to talk about cost, mainly meals in the dining car. I then take you on a journey on the Silver Star train leaving New York Pennsylvania Station. I go into photo details of what the sleeper rooms look like, the roomette and bedrooms.
In the third part, we are moving out of NY Penn Station, traveling south in New Jersey, crossing the border in Pennsylvania, having lunch in Philadelphia, on our way to Washington DC.
In the fourth and final part, we watch them switch locomotives from electric to diesel engines in Washington DC. We have dinner onboard, get some sleep before waking up and having breakfast in Jacksonville, Florida. We then continue our journey to Orlando Station. I then discuss how to get from Orlando Station to your resort.
