About the Author

Andrew Lansdown is a poet and the author of several collections, including Birds in Mind, The Dispossessed, Far from Home, and Fontanelle. He is the recipient of numerous poetry awards, such as the Manly Fellowship of Australian Writers Poetry Award, the Trudy Graham Biennial Literary Award, and the Woorilla Poetry Prize. Kevin Gillam is the director of music at Christchurch Grammar School and a freelance cellist and orchestral conductor. He is the author of Other Gravities and Permitted to Fall and his poetry has been included in The Best Australian Poems 2008 and The Best Australian Poetry 2006. He is also the recipient of many poetry awards, including the Adelaide Festival's John Bray National Poetry Award and the Western Australian Premier’s Book Award. Lisa Gorton is a writer whose poetry collection, Press Release, was short-listed for the Melbourne Prize for Best Writing Award and the Mary Gilmore Award, and won the Victorian Premier’s Prize for Poetry. Her novel for children, Cloudland, was one of the Age Books of the Year.
