About the Author

Dr. T. R. Anderson worked as a civil rights professional for the United States government for over thirty years, serving people who believed that had been discriminated against in the work place. She’s currently a counseling psychologist with a desire to help hurting people who have experienced trauma that has caused them complications in their daily life functioning. She encourages others to choose their words wisely because life and death is in the power of the tongue. Dr. Anderson is one of God’s children who is a member of Paradise Baptist Church in Oakland, California; she loves her biological and church family and has a contagious sense of humor, endeavoring to find joy in every situation.
Joy is not controlled by an emotion. Joy transcends personality and emotions. It’s wrapped in hope, not the hope in people, but the hope in God, because people are reliably unpredictable.
