About the Author

Elliot Murphy was born in Liverpool in 1991, and is a postgraduate Linguistics student at the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences, UCL. His work focuses on neurolinguistics and the evolution of language, and he holds a first-class English degree from the University of Nottingham.
