About the Author

Ra’Mone Marquis is a southern gentleman, born and raised in the sunshine state of Florida. He received his Bachelors degree from Florida International University where he became a proud 2005 initiate of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He went on to receive his Masters degree from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing his doctoral degree from Capella University. Marquis currently lives in Miami, Florida. Life experiences and literary idols such as Omar Tyree, Terry McMillan, and Eric Jerome Dickey; have shaped Ra’Mone into the author that he is today. This is what formed the foundation of him being considered a refreshing literary artist with high levels of uniqueness and relatability. JOE BLUE is an author, an entrepreneur, and a Combat Veteran. A Dyersburg, Tennessee native, graduating from Murray State University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Joseph began his five years of service in the United States Army. Serving in several locations throughout the US and overseas, Joseph has gained insight and a worldly perspective about life, politics, and culture.


MARSHALL A. LATIMORE is an award-winning visual journalist and content strategist, specializing in publication design, multimedia reporting and social media. He resides in Austin, Texas, where he is a special sections designer at GateHouse Media's Center for News & Design and an associate art director for the Houston-based Defender Media Group. He honed his skills in design, photography, video/audio editing at Tennessee State University in Nashville, where he studied print journalism and speech communications.
