The Voter's Guide to National Salvation
The cover photo is of an abandoned ranch house in Big Bend National Park and was taken by my very supportive spouse, Ms. Elaine Turner

This book is intended to motivate all citizens to become more informed voters and active in their communities, states and the nation. The chapters analyze various aspects of American life and offer studied opinions about public education, government, politics, politicians (good and not-so-good), disinformation and those who perpetrate it and solutions that are, hopefully, both practical and "outside the box."

The ideal of approaching full awareness by the existing voter, the part-time voter and those not even registered to vote is paramount here - as the title suggests. With such small minorities of voters deciding who and what our country is about and doing is NOT a working democracy like the one our founders intended when they exhibited all that courage to become a separate nation. We the people must live up to our duty and title as "citizen" and offer up our voices in a chorus of leadership so that our representatives know which way to go and govern.

We are a nation of over 310 million people and it simply cannot be governed by money-first special interests. It is not, after all, all about how much money a person can make, it's also about the people of the nation building the very best quality of life for all. This book spares little effort in pointing out and defining those who are about special interest above all else while pointing out the benefits to the nation as a whole when people make the government work the way it is supposed to work.
