We are trainwrecks
When she woke, she felt the gentle caress of her lover's hand on her cheek and heard the crackle of gunfire, louder than before and nearer to her location. The concrete slab that had been her pillow remained cool to the touch. Being pursued by armed and murderous asset reclaimers affects everyone differently.

She had to move.

Whether it was into another overpriced flat in Shoreditch or an alley in Marseilles, she absolutely could not stay still. Where she belonged was always the next place, the next stop she knew would be the last. The one that took hold and reassured and reasserted that belief. When she woke, it was, as far as she knew, the last place she'd ever be.

About the Author

Kelly Sorenson--the guy who wrote this--has always wanted to be a writer and has been doing a close approximation of it for a few years. His interests are varied, but he's big into anime, manga, guitar, cars, video games (within reason), reading and writing.

A geek, if you will, but slightly muted when compared to others. /endthirdperson

I have a NERV parking permit on the windshield of my car, a functioning PS2 memory card as a keychain, and an array of swell t-shirts from the utterly amazing artists at threadless; i.e., small things that catch the attention of those with a similar mindset.

My stories are similar in that there are subtle--and less than such--nods and winks to other works that I, and others, love. Don't let that discourage you from reading what I've written, as I focus on writing stories that are enjoyable first and foremost.

If you're interested, but still unsure, I have samples of all my stories at my blog, strangerandfiction.blogspot.com
