About the Author

Stephen McQuoid grew up in Ethiopia where his parents were missionaries. He then lived in Ireland where he qualified as a nurse before going to study at a number of institutions, specialising in theology and the history of religious thought. This is his fifteenth book. He joined the work of Gospel Literature Outreach in 1990, originally in the training department, Tilsley College, before becoming General Director of GLO. He is married to Debbie and they have three children. Stephen is an elder at Liberty Community Church, Bellshill. He has a passion for evangelism and mission and helping churches to reach out relevantly to their community.
