About the Author

VIKI HOLTON is Research Fellow at Ashridge Business School, UK. Her interests include surveying current trends in management and management development, best practice in career development, HR, equal opportunities and the development of women managers. She has undertaken work with employee attitude surveys, evaluation and benchmarking of human resource initiatives such as diversity and development. She is the author of many books and articles on gender diversity in organizations, and a member of a number of leading journals.

FIONA ELSA DENT is Director of Executive Education at Ashridge Business School. As a member of the Ashridge Management Committee, she is responsible for one of the two education faculty groups which manage programs, client relationships and deliver management development solutions across Ashridge. Dent is also involved with her colleagues in setting the strategic direction of the organization with a particular focus on human resources. At Ashridge, Fiona has Program and Client Director experience, and has worked with a range of organizations and clients on a national and international basis. Fiona teaches and consults in a broad spectrum of leadership, personal, interpersonal, and relationship skills and is trained in a range of psychometrics.
