About the Author

With the mind of an engineer and the hands of a mechanic, Todd Brandt worked at M and H Railroad, and managed the Gettysburg Scenic Railway. He always wore a train engineer's cap, earning the nickname TRain. The Hanover Newspaper and The Ragged Edge First Friday Poetry Series in Gettysburg featured Todd's poetry. A passion for clever word use and spontaneity were his specialties. He was well known for carrying index cards, and writing four line poems for people he met. He also enjoyed history, the arts, and rebuilding vintage jeeps. We will be sharing more of his poetry and books at ToddTRainBrandt.com.

The son of modern dancer Lelia Kelly and singer/sax player Frankie Galvin (who played with jazz greats like Dizzy Gillespie, Lester Young, and Billie Holiday), singer/songwriter Scott Fagan was born in New York City, and was raised in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. His style crosses the genre lines of Folk, R&B, Jazz, Rockabilly, Bolero, and Calypso. He is the Author, Composer, and Lyricist of the first Rock Opera on Broadway "SOON", and has written many songs, and recorded several albums, most notably "South Atlantic Blues" (AKA Scott Fagan Record), which was re-released in 2015. He has five children, including Stephen Merritt of the Magnetic Fields. You can learn more at ScottFagan.com.
