About the Author

After earning a B.S. Degree in Marketing from California State University, James Richardson enjoyed a long and successful career in financial services. He was a consistent sales leader and a frequent speaker within and outside his industry. As the trusted advisor to hundreds of families, he devoted his business life to improving the success of his clients' closely held businesses. The author of two other books, Money Super Power and Success Simplified, James was also a contributing columnist for two trade publications. He sold his business at age 49, but he believes that people should never retire "from" something; they should retire "to" something. In order to promote healthcare professionals and their practices on the web and in their communities, he formed multiple businesses: Click-thru Consulting, the flagship and parent, is a digital marketing agency. His software company, Mpact Magic, Inc., created one of the first reputation marketing software tools in the healthcare industry. He sold Mpact Magic in 2014. James has also committed significant efforts to many non-profits within his community. He served on the board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and founded Valley Arts&Science Academy, a charter elementary school that serves 350 underprivileged families. James also founded The Power of Ten, a youth empowerment organization that has impacted more than 50,000 high school students. The father of three, James enjoys golf, travel, and hanging out at the beach with his children.
