Univ. Prof. Dr. Tim Skern ist Virologe am Department für medizinische Biochemie der Medizinischen Universität Wien, das zu den Max F. Perutz Laboratories am Campus Vienna Biocenter gehört. Er untersucht die Mechanismen der Virusvermehrung in tierischen Zellen./Tim Skern, a native English speaker, studied biochemistry in Liverpool and London. Now working at the Max F. Perutz Laboratories, he has been teaching scientific English at the University of Vienna and the Medical University of Vienna since 1992.
