About the Author

Saira is the co-creator of "If We Were . . ." a children's picture book, and "Seek Joy, Find Beauty, Share Love" a contemplative coffee table book filled with beautiful images of our natural world and a meditative reflection on finding our place in it. In "Zen of Hoarding - 108 offerings for deciding what we own," she hopes to help others clear the space between the clutter and their calling.

She has come a long way from her birthplace in Uganda, Africa to a mid-western life in Ohio. She embarked on a lifelong journey of self-study after getting her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Business at Capital University. For many years, she earned her living as an accounting professional though she longed to explore her artistic soul "someday."

Her books are some of the many fruits that are being produced as a result of "someday" having arrived. Saira envisions the positive potential in both people and situations and strives to maximize the brilliance of those with whom she makes contact. As she awakens to this calling, Saira is deepening her exploration as a creative spirit in being an avid photographer, enthusiastic writer, and spiritual seeker. With great enjoyment, she expresses creativity in the kitchen and garden; in parenting, meditating, reading, traveling and being in nature. If you want to see her vibrancy come alive, ask her about The Silk Road, Monarchs, Children, Sandhill Cranes, Spirituality or Labyrinths. ?
