America's Most Sacred Foundations is a compilation of several of the documents on which America's Founding Fathers relied when drafting the Constitution. Blackstone's Commentaries on the Laws of England, Book I, was the seminal document spelling out the unalienable rights of all men. Common Sense was Thomas Paine's simple, common sense justification for revolution. And, of course, the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution itself were meant to spell out plainly those rights of citizens and duties of government necessary to maintain a free society. This compilation includes additional commentary as well as study guides at the end of each work to assist the serious student of the Constitution in understanding America's foundations.
