“And The Five shall be a princess, an orphan, The Beggar, a sailor, and an aristocrat. They shall be led to one another by prophecy. When they have all assembled they shall go to the place that The Legion has influenced, and there and only there will an army be waiting for them. Only together can The Five destroy The Legion once and for all.”

In an alternate world of three kingdoms, a free-spirited young aristocrat from the kingdom of Welds, named Bretta Mallard, stumbles upon a cryptic Book full of ancient prophecies. She soon discovers that everything she finds on the Book’s pages is happening in real life.

Meanwhile, in the neighboring kingdom of Lowrence, the queen’s health is rapidly failing. The two princesses—beautiful, charismatic Antoinette, and the younger, simple Odette—lost their father, the king, a few years earlier. When the crown committee reveals that Antoinette is not the true heir to the throne, she will stop at nothing to regain her promised power, including partnering with a mysterious spirit who routinely visits her. With the help of the spirit, known as The Legion, Antoinette runs Odette out of the country and then claims the throne, becoming queen.

Injured and alone in a foreign country, Odette must rely on the help of some unlikely friends and a mysterious book if she hopes to stop the power hungry Antoinette…or more sinister yet, the demonic collection of spirits that possesses her—The Legion.

Full of action, mystery, suspense, comedy, and romance, this adventure story will keep readers intrigued as the cryptic prophecies unfold.
