However, these recommendations (e.g., Richard Yates's Revolutionary Road and John Howard Griffin's Black Like Me) aren't your average readers' advisory; they don't follow the best sellers and the "if you like this, you should try this" model, exactly. Instead, Sheridan suggests books that are often forgotten; sometimes controversial ones. Significant and thought-provoking titles that have a powerful message, Sheridan's picks are sure to have something to please everyone, including audiobook lovers and fans of graphic novels.
