Sarah Pasma Kaufman and husband, Rich, returned to Oregon in 2005, following home construction, cultural and sailing adventures in Shaw Island, Washington, and Haleiwa, Hawaii. They may or may not build another house in their future, but two things are for certain: Bend, Oregon, is where they shall remain, and Folded Log Cabin quilts will continue to be Sarah's passion. Her love of teaching this process has made her a fixture at the Stitchin' Post in nearby Sisters. Just in case you think Folded Log Cabin is Sarah's only thing-six adorable grandchildren all need bed quilts periodically. She continues to take quilt classes of all kinds. Sarah is a member of the Hawaii Quilt Guild in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Mountain Meadow Quilters in Sunriver, Oregon. Her message to quilters everywhere is, Have a quilt guild in your life. Guilds provide all the inspiration, skill enhancement, friendship, challenge, and opportunity for giving back to your community you could want, and then some!
