Daniel Molitor is a writer whose novels and stories combine the mysteries of the past with contemporary adventures set in some of the most exotic locations around the world. Much of his work takes readers on imaginative "mind treks" to faraway lands and distant times. He's traveled extensively through Egypt and the Mediterranean, and visited most of the historic sites and awe-inspiring locations readers discover in his books. As one who appreciates the "romance of ruins," archaeology and the men and women who reconnect us with the past often are integral to his intriguing plot lines.
Molitor lives in Pasadena, California, although he'd rather be on his favorite Greek island (no, he's not telling which one), sitting outside a quiet tavérna in the shade of a plane tree, sipping an oúzo and scribbling notes for his next story.

Murder and Mystery in the Sands of Egypt
Archaeologists Steven and Catherine Gordon specialize in solving the puzzles of the past, but this time they've dug up something different--an object linked to a modern mystery...and murder! When Steven vanishes from his dive site in Alexandria, Catherine must piece together what few clues are left behind and follow a trail that leads from the shadows of the pyramids to the maze of twisting streets in Cairo's City of the Dead. As they rush toward a thrilling finale, Catherine and Steven find themselves chased by a demented assassin oblivious to pain, buried alive in a desert tomb, and stalked by killers who've been waiting for them since the time of the pharaohs.
