Two more from Feminist's marvelous "Femme Fatales" series. Released in 1945 and 1942, respectively, these noirish novels offer police investigators trying to get behind the facade presented by seemingly perfect women, one living, one dead. Call it hard-boiled chick lit. Copyright 2006 Reed Business Information.
