This is a story about early Colonial Life that follows Master Simon and his family to the end of the revolutionary war. Two of the main characters in the story are Simon and his daughter Margaret. Simon and his daughter are Puritans but they approach the way they live their lives and the way they view God differently than their neighbors. Simon's heart is not as prejudiced as his neighbors or as narrow minded in his view of God. When those in need come to his door he accepts them without question in spite of the judgment of his neighbors, and his family is blessed for it.
I hope you enjoy this book. When I first started reading books on my nook Library I noticed that there are many free classics available. However the formatting is terrible and some are unreadable because of errors in the text. Therefore, I decided to start publishing quality classics that included chapter breaks, table of contents, linked chapters, and illustrations when available. Keep your eye out for inspirational stories from us, EirenikosPress.
