In this easy-to-read story, Zack once again gets involved with the past and another supposedly deceased character. This time, he finds a mummy in the basement of his building—a young prince who wants to go home and be with his parents, Ikhnaton I and Queen Nefertiti. The silly, improbable story makes fun of parents, teachers, New York Cab drivers and the museum community. Author Greenburg does manage to slip in some factual data about this period in Egyptian history and the process of mummification—part of which will really appeal to boys of the intended audience. This is number 26 in the "Zack Files" series and there doesn't appear to be any end in sight. Great for reluctant readers and especially young boys. 2002, Grosset & Dunlap/Penguin Putnam,
