Los Angeles screenwriter and director Eric Nicholas is a graduate of the University of Southern California's prestigious School of Cinema-Television. Over the past ten years, he has worked for some of the top production companies in Hollywood, including Warner Bros.-based Alcon Entertainment and Sony-based Escape Artists, where his script Diary is currently set up with Jennifer Aniston attached to star. In 2005, Nicholas wrote and directed the psychological thriller Alone with Her, starring Colin Hanks (son of Tom). The movie premiered at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, where it was picked up for worldwide distribution by IFC Films and The Weinstein Company. The movie was released in 2007 to excellent reviews, including raves by the L.A. Times, New York Post, and Entertainment Weekly. Nicholas will next be directing the $12 million action-thriller The Weaker Sex (which he also wrote) in late 2008.
